Nothing is More Important Than Knowing Christ!

Suppose you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?”

What would you say? Answers some people give to this question:

I’ve always tried to do what’s right . . .
I’m basically a good person, help my neighbors, take care of my family . . .
I follow the Golden Rule
I keep the Ten Commandments . . . well, most of them, most of the time . . . 
I was baptized when I was a baby . . .
I go to church every week . . . 
I pray every night . . .

Guess what? God will not accept any of these answers.  Jesus gave us the answer in John 14:6 when he said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."  Have you come to a place in your life that you know for certain you have eternal life and will go to heaven when you die?  Do you know Jesus as Lord and Savior?
